LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., January 8, 2009 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, announced today it will support the newly established ISO/IEC 24734 and 24735 Productivity Standards, which are currently registered for FDIS (Final Draft International Standard) approval and nearing completion.

Under the ISO FDIS, participating vendors would adopt a common measurement system to quote print and copy speed performance. This makes it easier for users to choose products according to their printing and copying needs.
